This year your AQA contract will be sent to you via email.
You will need to sign the contract and return it to AQA electronically.
This short piece of e-learning will guide you through the steps you need to take to complete and to return your completed contract.

You will be receiving an email similar to the one shown on screen.
It is important to read this thoroughly as it gives you guidance on how to complete and return your contract electronically.
There are links, highlighted in blue; you can click on these to see additional information or to download the Adobe Reader software if your PC does not already have it installed.
An attachment will be included in the email. Once you have read the email, please click to open the contract and declaration of personal or professional interest document. To open the attachment, right click with the 'open with' option.
If Adobe Reader/Acrobat does not appear as an option, please download it from the email.

Once you have opened the document attached to the email, you will see the first stage of your offer of appointment. You should check that all of the details are correct.
Again, there are links highlighted in blue throughout the document which will give you access either to additional information, or the email address that you should send your completed contract documents to.

Following this, the next section is your contract.
This contains all of the details of your contracted work for AQA, including the beginning and end dates of the contract, details of any deliverables, fees and further general conditions.
Although you may have had contracts similar to this from AQA in the past it is still important that you read the contract information carefully.

The first section that you need to complete is the declaration of personal/professional interests.
All contractors must submit a completed declaration every year.
The sections highlighted in blue on this form are editable. You can simply click on the yes or no lozenges and click into the blue boxes to start typing in your information.
Please make sure that you have completed all of the information required, including the confirmation box at the bottom of this page. Once filled in correctly, you can move on to the next section: your acceptance form.

The final part of the contract is the acceptance form. Again, please make sure that you have read this carefully and refer back to the contract details if there is anything you are unsure of before completing the form.
On the acceptance form the sections to complete are again highlighted in blue. Some have an additional red border. You should still complete all of the details in the same way as you did for the declaration section.

Once you have had and completed the document you will need to save it.
To do so, go to:
File
Save As
And the PDF
This will then give you the option of where, on your computer, you would like to save the completed document. You may wish to save this on your desktop or in a specific folder. The important things is to know where to find it again for the next stage.
Please ensure that you include the word 'COMPLETED' in the file name.

Having completed and saved the contract and interest form, you will now need to return it to AQA.
The email address to send it to is written on your offer of appointment. This is likely to be the first page of the document.
At this stage you have two options, you can either just click on the blue link and this will open an email window for you, or you can use your personal email in the normal way and type the appropriate email address into the 'email to' field.
You will then need to attach the completed form to the email. The way to do this will depend on your email provider, but often you will see a paperclip image at the top of the email window. Click this and attach the saved version of your document.
