Unit Award Scheme

demonstrated the ability to

1. hold a guitar in the correct classical posture

2. tune the instrument by ear

3. interpret at least five chord diagrams

4. follow chord sheets whilst playing the guitar

5. play five chords from tablature in the scales of C, G and E major

6. play one lead part of 12 bars with accompaniment

7. perform the rumba technique over at least six bars without losing time

8. play in time to an audio recording

9. use a capo to change the key of a song.
