shown knowledge of 1. the names of the four different groups of musical instruments, ie brass, woodwind, percussion, strings	Student completed work
demonstrated the ability to 2. listen to and identify at least four different styles of music, eg classical, jazz, opera, pop	Student completed work
3. play at least three musical instruments	Summary sheet
4. make at least three sound effects using musical instruments	Summary sheet
experienced 5. taking part in a discussion on people's different musical tastes.	Summary sheet
