Level: Level One

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
shown knowledge of 1. at least four instruments in the strings section of a symphony orchestra	Student completed work
2. at least four instruments in the woodwind section of a symphony orchestra	Student completed work
3. at least four instruments of the brass section of a symphony orchestra	Student completed work
4. at least four instruments in the percussion section of a symphony orchestra	Student completed work
demonstrated the ability to 5. listen to an audio recording and identify at least one instrument from each section of an orchestra	Summary sheet
6. identify visually at least one instrument from each section of the orchestra	Summary sheet
experienced 7. watching a video presentation of an orchestral performance, eg Young Persons Guide to the Orchestra.	Summary sheet
