Progressive approach to work experience: Equalex framework

Here you will find Unit Award Scheme (UAS) units in work experience. These units have been written in collaboration with the Careers & Enterprise Company and their Equalex framework. This is in accordance with the DfE’s statutory guidance in careers education built around the eight Gatsby Benchmarks.

This suite of units is split into three themes based on the framework: Introduce and inspire, Investigate and explore and Apply and demonstrate. You can choose to teach any of the units from the suite or amend them to meet bespoke learner needs. Learners receive a certificate each time they complete a unit, providing tangible evidence of achievement. This is a proven way to help learners engage in their learning, build confidence and take clear steps towards success.
