Summer 2026 results days

You can find detailed guidance on summer 2026 results and post-results in our recent email.

With results days approaching, we want to remind you of the different ways you’ll be able to access results documents on restricted release days. Remember, restricted release means that results documents may only be seen by exams office staff and Heads of Centre, and must not be shared with learners, teachers, parents/carers until 8.00am on results days.

Centre Services

You’ll be able to download results documents from Centre Services by following these steps:

  • log into Centre Services
  • select ‘Post-exams’
  • select ‘Results’
  • click on ‘Results documents’.

From here, you’ll be able to download Candidate Statements of Provisional Results, Broadsheets of Provisional Results, Component Marks Reports, and a Cumulative Record of Unit Results documents, in a zip folder. Grade boundaries are available in Centre Services on restricted release day for all subjects to exams office staff and Heads of Centre.

Reports on the exam

From results days, you’ll be able to download the summer 2026 reports on the exam (Lead Examiner reports) by following these steps:

  • log into Centre Services
  • select ‘Resources’
  • select ‘Assessment and training’
  • click on the subject
  • tick ‘Report on the Exam’ in the ‘Resource type’ filter.

This report is based on observations of a wide range of learner responses to questions and provides great insight into how the exams went, and if there was an issue – such as a mistake on a question paper – how this was resolved. They can also be used to help teachers prepare their learners for any future mock assessments and for teaching and learning purposes.

If any of your teaching staff do not already have a Centre Services account, they can register for one here.

Data Insights

You’ll be able to download csv results files from Data Insights. For some centres, using csv format makes it easier to manage data and prepare reports. You can find detailed guidance on using Data Insights on our website.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

If you're using EDI to import results, you must have the latest version of A2C installed.

A new version of the A2C Transport Application (V.1.3.7) will be available to download from the A2C website from Tuesday 26 August 2026. Keeping the application up-to-date is important to make sure that you have the latest fixes for any known issues.

Exams Integrity cases

We aim to have outcomes to all cases being handled by the Exams Integrity team (e.g. malpractice and maladministration) delivered to centres before results day. If you are expecting a response from the Exams Integrity team but have not received one by results day, please call 0800 197 7162 or email irregularities@aqa.org.uk before releasing results to the learners involved.

Please check that all outcomes match the results that you receive on restricted release day. If they do not, please contact Exams Integrity before giving those learners their results.

MFL speaking test feedback forms for teachers

Your teachers may receive a Teacher-examiner Tester Performance Record (TTPR) form or a Moderator Feedback Form for certain MFL speaking components on results days. The aim of these forms is to give teacher-examiners factual feedback where there may be issues with the conduct of the speaking tests, this is to help inform the conduct of future tests.

Candidate numbers will be provided on the TTPR issued to identify the teacher-examiner at the school or college, and the comments may also apply to other learners tested by this teacher-examiner. As this feedback is tailored to the teacher-examiner conducting the speaking test, you may not receive a TTPR form for all speaking components that you have entries for.

You will continue to receive feedback forms for other subjects in the usual way.

UCI reminder

If you’re giving learners results slips that you generate from your MIS, please make sure that you include the learner’s Unique Candidate Identifier (UCI). This is essential for enrolling in sixth form or further education.

If you’re enrolling a learner, you must get their UCI from their previous school/college if they have one. Please do not allocate new UCIs to learners. For more information about UCIs, please see JCQ's guidance on getting your entries right first time.

Leaving your exams officer role?

If you’re leaving your exams officer role, please make sure your centre’s handover includes these two important actions.

  1. The new exams officer will need to update the National Centre Number (NCN) Register so that your centre’s contact details are up to date and accurate.
  2. They should also arrange the appropriate access to Centre Services. This will help ensure that they receive key communications, can manage exams administration securely, and have the access they need from the start of their role.

Ofqual updates

This year, as well as their usual results day information, Ofqual will be broadcasting live editions of their podcast, ‘Can I Just Qualify That?’.

They'll also publish a summary of the key trends and outcomes on their ‘Can I Just Qualify That?’ blog, and their interactive statistical reports will give the full data, including a new feature that will allow users to map grade results by local authority area.
