More than an exam board

Education at the heart of everything we do

We are the UK’s largest exam board

Delivering assessments to over one million learners every year. We are also an independent education charity – all of the money we make goes back into education, allowing us to fulfil our aim to never to let a learner down. That purpose drives all of our work. When you join AQA, you are joining an organisation with over 120 years of experience in delivering educational excellence, and you could be part of our next chapter.

What does working at AQA look like?

Teacher-centred approach

Teachers and learners at the heart of everything we do. Many of our staff have previous classroom experience they use to help shape what we do and how we do it.

Purpose-led work

Our roles directly shape the future of education and the experiences of students and teachers nationally.

Supportive, diverse teams

We build diverse teams, reflecting our learners and teachers, that work collaboratively from a variety of locations.

Flexibility

As standard, employed roles benefit from a 35-hour week and 2 days in offices located at Manchester, Guildford, London and Milton Keynes.

Some of our available roles can also be carried out alongside your teaching.

Training and development

Opportunities to diversify your skills while staying in education. We provide role‑specific training along with ongoing professional development.
