We’ve created two new Art and Design resources to support your teaching for 2023.
Teacher standardisation example work index
Each year we hold live exhibitions of students’ work showcasing different approaches from schools and colleges around the country. The exhibitions cover all six titles with a range of marks at each level. The examples listed in the index below can also be shown to students and help you standardise work.

To help you find the examples you need, the tables in the documents identify which title, component, set and mark is available in each of the standardisation books on Centre Services. To find the books, follow the steps below.
- Log in to Centre Services
- Go to 'Resources'
- Select 'Assessment and training'
- Click 'Art and Design'
- Under 'Resource type', select 'Standardisation'

We’ve created new marking guidance spidergrams for our GCSE and A-level Art and Design specifications.

You may find these spidergrams helpful in matching students' work to the correct mark band. The language can be used in conversations with students about what they need to do and evidence, to enable them to progress to a higher mark band.
