FAIRY LORE OF THE WORLD: ANTARCTICA

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed

2. label at least two key features or places on a map of Antarctica	Student completed work
3. draw a fairy that could live in Antarctica and describe its characteristics	Student completed work
4. create their own fairy lore based on an Antarctica fairy	Student completed work and/or summary sheet
5. take part in a basic scientific experiment based on ice and record their findings	Student completed work and/or summary sheet
6. create a piece of art on the theme of snow or ice	Student completed work and/or photograph(s)
7. describe the climate and weather in Antarctica	Student completed work and/or summary sheet
8. identify the main animals living in Antarctica	Student completed work and/or summary sheet
9. label the main anatomical features on a diagram of an Emperor penguin	Student completed work
experienced 10. reading or listening to poetry or songs relating to fairies and fairy lore.	Summary sheet
