CRYPTANALYSIS AND CODE BREAKING

Level: Entry Level

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. describe what is meant by cryptanalysis	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2. attempt a code breaking activity	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
3. use the Caesar cipher to code or decode a piece of text	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
shown knowledge of 4. two different types of encryption code, eg Morse code and the Enigma code.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
