DIGITAL SKILLS: HANDLING INFORMATION

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. use appropriate words or phrases to search for news or information using a browser, eg Chrome, Internet Explorer or Safari	Summary sheet
2. use bookmarks to save and retrieve information on a web browser on at least two occasions	Summary sheet
shown knowledge of 3. how to stream content, eg music, films from one legal site, such as BBC iPlayer	Summary sheet
4. how to evaluate the truth and reliability of content online using at least three different pieces of information and identify which are reliable	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5. how the cloud is used as a way to store information and content remotely	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
