In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. identify their nearest coastline using a map or digital tool	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2. identify at least four species commonly found in rockpools at their chosen coastline	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
3. show where each of these species is found using a model, drawing and/or a digital representation	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
4. explain one adaptation that helps each of the identified species survive in its rockpool habitat	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5. describe, using notes, labels and/or a short presentation, one way human activity can harm and one way it can help coastal habitats, eg pollution, habitat loss, eco-tiles, mussel plates, enhancement projects	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
6. show the effect of adding an ecological enhancement to a coastal habitat model or representation, eg an eco-tile, mussel plate, artificial rockpool	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
