In successfully completing this unit, the learner will haveEvidence needed

demonstrated the ability to

1. read and interpret line graphs representing tidal changes over a 24-hour period, identifying the peak high tide and the rate of change

2. calculate the mean, median and mode of microplastic counts and nurdles found within a 1 m² quadrant from a beach clean

3. explain the impact of coastal erosion by calculating the rate of cliff retreat, eg if a cliff retreats two metres every year, work out how much will be gone in 50 years
