In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. calculate at least ten distances between towns using a mileage chart	Student completed work
2. calculate average car speeds over different periods of time using a mileage chart	Student completed work
3. calculate and compare distances between towns using different routes	Student completed work
4. calculate distances on a map using scale, eg 1cm represents 10km	Student completed work
5. analyse data from holiday brochures to determine the prices paid for varying lengths of stay at different times of the year in at least three hotels	Student completed work
6. use holiday brochure data to compare the cost of board arrangements at different times of the year in at least two hotels	Student completed work
7. calculate the range in maximum and minimum temperatures in at least five holiday resorts	Student completed work
