MEASURING AND CALCULATING ANGLES

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. recognise and name, acute, right, obtuse, straight line and reflex angles	Student completed work
2. measure acute, right, obtuse and straight line angles using a protractor to a reasonable degree of accuracy (+or - 2º)	Student completed work
3. measure reflex angles using a protractor to a reasonable degree of accuracy (+ or - 2º)	Student completed work
4. draw angles of given sizes to a reasonable degree of accuracy (+ or - 2º)	Student completed work
shown knowledge of 5. the following rules: (a) angles in a right angle add up to 90º, (b) angles in a straight line add up to 180º, (c) angles in a full turn add up to 360º.	Student completed work
