How to create a new password

System notification: these instructions are for new systems (Centre Services and Associate Extranet) that are currently only available to AQA internal staff. If you’re in a centre, or you’re an examiner or associate, please continue to reset your password through your current log in page.

Use this process if you’ve forgotten your password, or you’re creating a password for a new Centre Services or Associate Extranet account.

Once you’ve registered for an account, we’ll need to verify your email address so you can create a new password.

Creating your new password

  1. Click on the link sent to you via email to verify your account.

Step 1

  1. Enter your email address.
  2. Click send verification code.
  3. Go to your email and get your code.

Note: The email we send you is from Microsoft and not AQA-branded. It’s sent to the email address you completed your registration with, and contains a numeric code.

Step 2

  1. Enter your code.
  2. Click verify code.
  3. Check your email to get your code.

Note: If you haven’t received a code, check your junk folder before clicking send new code.

Step 3

  1. Only change email address if you want to send a verification code to a different email address.

Note: You can't use this process to change the email address registered to your account. If you need to change your log in email address, or you're having trouble logging in, please contact us.

  1. Click continue.

Step 4

  1. Enter a new password.
  2. Then confirm new password.

Note: Passwords must be between 8 and 64 characters, and must have at least 3 of the following attributes - lowercase letter, uppercase letter, number or symbol.

  1. Click continue.

What happens next

You’ll be redirected to the log in screen, where you’ll be required to enter your email address and your newly created password.
