Entry Level Certificate in Adult Literacy and Adult Numeracy explanation of results
- The results of the Entry Level Certificate are reported on a three-point scale which corresponds to the National Curriculum levels 1, 2, and 3.
- Achievement is reported as Entry 3, Entry 2 and Entry 1, of which Entry 3 is the highest and Entry 1 the lowest.
- Candidates of AQA Entry Level Certificate Literacy achieving a score of 75% or higher for Entry 3 and 72% or higher for Entry 1 and Entry 2 are awarded a pass and receive a certificate. Candidates achieving a score of less than 75% for Entry 3 and less than 72% for Entry 1 and Entry 2 receive a statement of result.
- Candidates of AQA Entry Level Certificate Numeracy achieving a score of 75% or higher are awarded a pass and receive a certificate. Candidates achieving a score of less than 75% receive a statement of result.
